Lately I've been under the gun to get my equipment ready for inspection. Every 3 years the Forest Service contracts are renewed and this is the year. I haven't been signed up for 3 years so we had lots to do. Inspection was on the 6th. It was very thorough and the guys knew what they were doing unlike in times past. They found a few issues that we are now dealing with. One of them I was glad they found as it was something I didn't see. The other issues were stupid in my opinion. They were things I would have dealt with before a fire anyway that I just didn't get done in time for inspection. I still have months before any fires happen but in there goofy system, I have to be ready NOW. The inspector will come up again the 17th to check on the issues they had and I will be ready. When I was working at the airport I was reminded of all the regulations they had with aircraft and it seems to be moving into this arena too. More very year, it would seem next to impossible to get into this business now if you had never done it before. I guess that is good if you are already in it. I have paid a substantial amount of cash just to stay in it on the chance that we have fires. So far though, it is looking like it could shape up to be a fire year. Time will tell but it has been a dry winter and we haven't had lots of rain this spring. I didn't take lots of picture but here are a few.

I never imagined that I would be very concerned about who was senator in the state of Massachusetts living clear over here in Montana, but the result sure was a relief to me! According to Yahoo News, Scott Brown has defeated Martha Coakley for the special election held to decide who replaces Kennedy. What a significant election this was. There has not been a Republican senator in Mass. since 1972! Only 12% of register voters in Mass. are Republicans! I believe this really says something about what Americans think about Obamacare and other ridiculous ideas of our President. Not that I think Republicans are so great, but our Government, (especially the current administration) has gotten a long ways away from doing what the people want them to do. For too long they have been pushing their own agendas without giving a hoot about the people. My hope is that this was a wake up call. That could be just a pipe dream, but I'll continue to hope that this country doesn't self destruct. It isn't rule by Republican or Democrat that I desire, it is rule by the people that I desire again for this country.

Poverty, Riches, and Hillbillies

As I was building a roof rack for my Suburban today, I couldn't help but laugh to myself. You see, we are getting ready to go on a trip to visit family. I am checking the suburban over and trying to figure out how I'm going to haul all our stuff. It isn't so much the stuff I'm hauling TOO the relatives but the stuff I will be hauling BACK! I have a larger than average family with 5 kids and they always get mountains of gifts from Grandparents. This will be our late Christmas trip so I must prepare. Anyhow, having such a large family means I have to so often use my imagination and some redneck engineering. A large family means that sometimes (OK, almost always) you must do things on a budget. Because of this, we often end up looking like the Beverly Hillbillies. So I am building this luggage rack out of some odds and ends I found around my house. This consists of some old bed frames, some round tubing, and some concrete reinforcement re bar. Trying to do it as quickly as I can, I'm not spending lots of time making nice welds, even cuts, perfect square corners, or nice paint jobs. My wife comes into the mans domain where I am building and says, "What is that?!" I say, "It is our new roof rack." She says, "Whats wrong with the space pod?" (The space pod is the roof luggage carrier that resembles a space craft) I say, "Nothing dear, we will be using that too." I can tell by her voice that she isn't impressed with my creation. I thought about wrapping it in Duct Tape to look like a Red Green invention. So we will go on our trip with what looks like a bed on the top of our car to carry luggage in. Other times I've carried motorcycles and ATVs on the top of our cars and trailers and many other hillbilly looking methods. I'm beginning to think that maybe we ARE hillbillies! After all, I don't have any desire to seek after riches, drive fancy cars, make big house payments, use lots of credit cards, etc. In fact, my desires are to get off the grid, stay debt free, and live in Alaska. I do my best to live a backwoods simple life. I raise my kids to be the same way. I burn wood for all our heat, we butcher 90% of our own meat, turn off the TV for long periods of time, I keep our trips to town down to a minimum, home school, build buildings like in the picture, carry a rifle and/or handgun where ever I go, and many other hillbilly things. Funny thing is, I feel like I'm the richest man alive. Some would call me poor because I sometimes look poor. I don't mind, how I look to others makes no difference to me. A week ago two of my sons and I had rented a table at a gun show and one evening after it was over for the day we went out and got into our vehicle with an odd colored door and numerous dents. Next to us where numerous fancy new pickups along with high payments. One son says, "We might look like hillbillies but I bet we are better off than most of these other people. Not too many people of your young age have the means that you have." I was proud that what I have tried hard to teach was getting through. You see, we have tried hard to stay debt free and sometimes you don't always look like everybody else. I've done the high payment thing with houses and cars. It just isn't worth it. My cars are paid for, my house is paid for, my clothes are paid for, and my latest kid is almost paid for. I get to watch my kids grow up, I get to spent lots of time with them, my marriage is good after 18 years, our health is good, and we are happy. Man, if this is what being a hillbilly is, than give me more! You see, riches are so much more than just money, and poverty is so much more than just a lack of money. And that my friends, is today's lesson.

Whats this you ask? Well, it is the money we would have saved had we not elected Obama for for president! ;-}

Our cat sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep. If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free. He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy Cow, my cat is a democrat!

Well, it has been a long time since I've posted on here. Maybe now that winter is here I will more often, hold the applause please. It has been very busy here and I don't often feel like sitting here typing at the computer. I was looking at some pictures on the computer this Christmas Eve and I found myself thinking about the time that has past us by. Thinking about the past is something everybody does sometimes. Some people have a past full of regrets while others have only a few. While I would like to say that I have no regrets, that simply wouldn't be true. The good news is that we can change all that right now. Jesus was born on this earth over 2000 years ago for the express purpose of setting us free from guilt and condemnation. Both here on the earth and in the afterlife. It is as simple as asking for forgiveness and accepting what He did for us on the day of redemption. This is what I did almost 17 years ago and I can remember it like it was yesterday. All that weight of condemnation was lifted off of me and I felt like (and indeed was) a new man. It is the one decision that I can assure you that you will never regret.

Looking at pictures of the past also reminded me that we have such an important job as parents. The uncertainty that we face on this earth today will only be changed by parents doing their job. The state we are in right now is a direct result of parents NOT doing there job. Most parents let the world raise their children. The world shapes every part of them. The public school system has much more influence on their lives than the parents do. Most parents hardly even KNOW their kids or know what the schools are teaching them. The Bible tells us to train up a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from it. Why have todays and yesterdays children departed? Because they were never taught the way they should go. You don't have to teach a child to be disobedient, they are born knowing how. You have to TEACH a child to go the right way. Let us as parents endeavor to teach our children to CHANGE the world, not follow after the world. This will not be easy to do, nothing worth doing ever is, but this is what a parent does. If you not willing, than don't have children.

Well, I just now do my job as a parent and put some children to bed. Merry Christmas!!!!!

Little Zachary was doing very badly in math.
His parents had tried everything...tutors, mentors, flash cards, special learning centers. In short, everything they could think of to help his math.

Finally, in a last ditch effort, they took Zachary down and enrolled him In the local Catholic school. After the first day, little Zachary came home with a very serious look on his face. He didn't even kiss his mother hello.
Instead, he went straight to his room and started studying.

Books and papers were spread out all over the room and little Zachary was hard at work. His mother was amazed. She called him down to dinner.

To her shock, the minute he was done, he marched back to his room without a word, and in no time, he was back hitting the books as hard as before.

This went on for some time, day after day, while the mother tried to understand what made all the difference.

Finally, little Zachary brought home his report Card.. He quietly laid it on the table, went up to his room and hit the books. With great trepidation, His Mom looked at it and to her great surprise, Little Zachary got an 'A' in math.

She could no longer hold her curiosity.. She went to his room and said, 'Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?' Little Zachary looked at her and shook his head, no.. 'Well, then,' she replied, Was it the books, the discipline, the structure, the uniforms? WHAT WAS IT?'

Little Zachary looked at her and said, 'Well, on the first day of school when I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren't fooling around.'

So What Comes Next?

I'm going to step aside from my normal political subjects for this post and voice what I think is in store for us in the not too distant future. We are living in very turbulent times and I won't pretend to know all about what is ahead but will give some practical advice for dealing with what I personally think is in store for us. I'm not a rash, over reactive person. I didn't store up one little thing for Y2K and I don't think the Mayans knew anything about the end of the world. I think they had too much to be concerned about with there own survival to worry about what happens in 2012. Why would they worry about 2012 when they weren't even going to come close to making it that far? So lets not talk silly stuff.

Ok, this economic situation shows no sign of turning around anytime soon and we have a government that encourages us to continue doing the some things that got us into trouble in the first place. In fact, they are running thier finances far worse than the average working person did before all this happened. How can doing this fix it? It can't, period, end of story. So it is time to start taking some action to get us through this. Besides the obvious of praying and getting Gods wisdom, number one is getting out of debt as much as possible. If this isn't possible, reduce it as much as you can. New cars are not worth it, new furniture is not worth it, and even worse, toys of various sorts are not worth it. It is NOT a time to spend freely. Yes, if you have money, great deals can be found and some people will get rich by wise investments during this time. The key though is this, they have the money to do so. Don't buy into the garbage that if everybody spends money they don't have, the economy will get better. That is garbage. I have now lived relatively debt free (the last baby isn't paid off yet) for over a year and a half and it is one of the most freeing things there is in this natural world.

It is time to lay up some stock of necessary items. I have never really done this before because I don't live in fear. If I have extra I often give it away. That is an important princible that I live by. I'm not saying let up on your giving, but also prepare a bit to help take care of your family. If this cap and trade silliness goes through, basic things could get very expensive. Fuel will go up, food will go up, most things will go up in price. Even if it doesn't go through, inflation is bound to hit us soon enough. My electricity has gone up greatly in the past year. My bill is higher than it has ever been here while my electric use has been lower than ever before at this place. A good food stock is always a good idea. Whatever you use for heat it is good to lay up some extra if possible. Also look into alternative forms. I personally use wood but I know that isn't possible for everybody. I will also start looking into alternative forms of electricity. Extra fuel for your car is good although it doesn't store very good for very long. Probably most important, especially if you live in the city, is get some water in storage. You can't live very long if you can't get water. Do some studying on people living in the great depression. It can happen again here.

I'm not a doom and gloom person and I definitely don't think that God is done with America. But so many times we as Americans seem to think that what other people in the world deal with can't happen here. We have become so prideful that we set ourselves up for a fall. God made this country and made it great. He is not done. We are a protector of Israel and we send forth the Gospel to all over the world. That is our purpose and it has not all been fulfilled. It isn't time to be scared, just wise. Gardens, a means to get some meat, some water, heat, food storage, and personal protection are wise investments for these times we are in.

Remember, it isn't paranoia if there is a real possibility of it happening.

Are You Paranoid?

It seems that there are a whole lot of paranoia accusations being thrown around these days. Seems the media and other blindly lead individuals like to use certain attention getting words to make others seem stupid and paranoid while getting the attention off of themselves. It is an age old tactic that was used by our number 1 enemy many years ago at the fall of man. Accuse others to get attention off of yourself and your agenda. Well let me tell you, if what you are concerned about is true, then it is NOT paranoia! Is it paranoia to have insurance on your house, car, life, etc when the chances are very remote that anything will happen? Ask anybody that has had their house burn down, broken into, or flooded. Is it paranoia to put away food and other necessities of life on the off chance that we might need it? Ask anybody that has survived a hurricane, tornado, or other natural disaster. Is it paranoia to wear a helmet on a motorcycle or a seat belt in a car? I've seen enough accidents of both type to say no it is not. Is it paranoia to have a means of protecting yourself against personal attack by two or four legged critters? I've had enough encounters of both to say it is absolutely not. I've never had to use my always present pistol thankfully, but I've also never been saved by my seat belt or extra food. They will always be there though. I HAVE had to use my house insurance and car insurance.

For many years Christians have been saying that persecutions are coming. Many people said they were paranoid. Even though it has clearly happened in other countries throughout history and still happens today, people said you were paranoid if you thought such things. It is now OK to teach kids about Islamic beliefs, Greek mythology, and pretty much any other religious belief, as long as it isn't Christianity. And people wonder why we home school. It has long been a favorite tactic of our enemy to go after our children. Most dictators used it, Hitler used it, the devil uses it, and now our own leaders use it. If it became law that you had to send your kids to a public school that you knew would indoctrinate them with values against your own, would you do it? Hopefully you wouldn't.

Over the years it has slowly become more acceptable to kill the innocent because they are "inconvenient" or "don't have much of a chance". Besides the obvious that this is simply wrong, it soon leads the way for government mandated killings. This too has happened in other countries throughout history and continues to happen today. Yet are you paranoid because you are against abortion? Would you let a government tell you whether or not your unborn child can live? Hopefully you wouldn't.

For years people have been warning us about economic collapse. Yet others always called them paranoid despite the fact that this has happened in the USA in the past. People continued to take on debt spending money they didn't have. Well, here it is. Was I paranoid because I felt a deep desire to get back out of debt? I live in an area where many people grow and/or hunt most of their food. We are all happy that we do. To be honest, the economy hasn't really affected us. I really don't even notice. But despite how all this happened, you have a government that wants you to continue to spend, continue to borrow. Will you do it? Hopefully not.

People say you are paranoid if you think the government wants to disarm you. Yet history tells us that an unarmed populace is not safe from their own leaders. History tells us that an unarmed populace is not safe from the criminal elements. Have you ever really thought about and studied why our constitution says what it says about arms? The framers of our constitution where amazingly intelligent people. They studied history and saw first hand what an out of control government can do. They were prophetic. They were also very wealthy (most of them anyway) and had LOTS to lose in this so called "rebellion" they led. Is it really rebellion to fight for ones life? They wanted the 2nd amendment in there as a last ditch effort to stop a tyrannical government and rampant crime. In England now, if you must wound or kill somebody in self defense, you will serve time. Would you let a tyranny happen to your house because the leaders tell you you're not allowed to stop it? For your children's sake, I do hope not.

The above things we have been "paranoid" about are coming true. Homeland Security says that if you think any off the above things you need to be watched. They think that YOU are a potential terrorist because you disagree with them. Government mandated thinking. My friends, ultimate responsibility for you and your children lie with YOU! It is time we all get off our lazy hind ends and pray for our country. The Lord promises He will heal our land if we humble ourselves and pray. It is also important that we do our civic duty and VOTE! Our government isn't the way it is because it was Gods desire. It is the way it is because of our laziness, sin, and apathy. It wasn't Gods desire for Israel to be under bondage to other countries so many times in history, it was because of their laziness, sin, and apathy. The Lord has given us such a great and wonderful country to live in. It is worth fighting for. It is still salvagable. There is still hope. God is NOT done with this country. God has NOT forsaken us. We have turned away. Will you continue to let your homeland waste and rot away? Hopefully not.

I thought this story was great, other than the fact that nobody else would help. That part I think is terrible. I've heard other stories of crowds of people not helping a victim in an attack. Where is the intestinal fortitude in this "age of the wimp"? I'm disgusted at peoples unwillingness to physically get involved when somebody is in need of help. Human Nature

I have been a member of our local VFD for a # of years now. I have observed the changes that have been taking place here in our "out of the way" community. There has been a migration of people from out of the area moving in. People from larger areas that have some money. It is very perplexing to me as to why people move to a small area and then try to make it into the area they came from. People from the big city move to the rural area to get away from it all. Then they proceed to do there best to change the nice, small community into exactly what they came from. My area (yes, I migrated too, but I prefer to keep the area the way it was) has for many years been a little bit of a step back in time. Many people here don't have power and in many areas it isn't even available. The roads have only been paved in the last 20 years. Electricity was brought to the main area 50 years ago. Beautiful place. People are individuals here and keep to themselves. I get along with all my neighbors (although it took a while to get to know them). You can walk down the road with a rifle and nobody thinks anything of it. In fact, they will stop and chat or offer a ride. Anyhow, I was just elected to the board of the local VFD and part of my job means I must make recommendations on new subdivisions and houses being built. All the big city requirements are now being required here, emergency equipment access, road widths, signs, etc. No more will places like my house be able to be built. There is no way a fire truck is getting to my place and that is fine by me. I provide my own fire service. If the forest service or law enforcement tells me I have to evacuate because of fires, floods, etc., I am not moving. Why can't we as people take care of ourselves anymore? I don't need or want the government keeping me safe from myself. There is and has been a trend to stupify the American citizen. There is a whole group of hoplophobes that can't even stand the thought that they might have to defend themselves. What ever happened to people with backbone? Now, if you disagree with the current government administration, Homeland Security says you should be watched for potential "right wing extremism" violence. It is time to wake up Americans! I love the state of Montana. Although not perfect, it is a wonderful place to be. I say this with apprehension because I really don't want a flock of people moving here and making it the same as many other states. But nevertheless, at considerable risk, I will share the good news. Many new and interesting bills have been introduced, some of them successful (or appearing to be so far) and some not. The right of self defense is an important one and the one that should be least messed with. It is the most basic fundamental right we have. Without which, no other rights can stand. If you can't defend yourself, you can hardly speak up for yourself, publicly worship, fearlessly pursue life, liberty and happiness, or any of the other basic human rights. Every creature under heaven will defend itself the best way it can if attacked. That is how we and they were made. Jesus clearly gave up that right when He went to the cross because He very explicitly stated that He could defend himself with unstoppable force. So clearly He was familiar with self defense. He even implies its use in other passages that I won't get into here. Anyway, recently Montana has sent to the governors office HB246 stating that the federal government has no more right to regulate firearms made, sold, and remaining in Montana than they do any other intrastate commerce. Basically, it is an attempt to regain some state rights. It is sad that we have to work to take back "rights" that can't be taken away in the first place. We also have HB228 which puts the burden of proof back on the state (rather than the victim) in a situation where force had to be used by the victim. Although we lost some cool things in this bill as it has worked its way though the system, it so far has remained a great thing. I am happy to see some state governments stand up to what has become far far too large of a federal government. Now if only we could get them to refuse this stupid stimulus money! Ok, I haven't posted anything for awhile so I figured I better do so. Either that or just do away with the blog. Maybe you think that would be the best idea and maybe you would be right. Probably not for the same reasons that I have though. Blogging seems to me to be a real waste of time. Here you have all these people that say they don't have time to do anything productive but yet they have large fancy blogs with new postings everyday. Ok, I won't get into that any further as me voicing these opinions will make some people very upset with me. Probably because they will know it is true. Hey, if you like sitting at the computer instead of facing reality, that is fine by me. It is a free country. Just remember that I have a free speech right too. And believe it or not, your free speech right is upheld by the right to bear arms. If that right goes, your free speech right will soon be gone, along with all your other rights. In this "age of the wimp" it seems so hard for people to understand this. It is easier to just bury your head in the sand and hope all goes well. Our fearless leader and his cronies seem bent on taking this right away (as if a right can be taken away). Their latest reason to restrict us..... Mexico!! Because Mexico has problems with drug cartels getting full auto weapons, grenades, and RPGs, we should not be aloud to have guns to defend and supply for ourselves. How may I ask, is you getting rid of your sks going to stop the Mexican drug lords from getting military weapons that have been illegal for us as private citizens to have for many many years? It is so obvious what the intent of our fearless leaders is. Why is Mexico having problems? Because citizens can do nothing about it! The strict gun laws have done nothing to keep the drug lords from obtaining weapons. It HAS kept the citizens from defending themselves and prevented them from doing anything about their extremely corrupt government. Our fearless leader threatens to do harm to the only bright spot in the economy right now and I predict that if he does, the same will happen to him that happened to ol' Billy boy. If you recall, he lost the house and senate after the first two years. I still have faith in the American way. I have faith that we will remain the greatest country in existence. I have faith that we will stand up for our rights and not let them be taken away. I have faith that despite what I see as a push for socialism and the destruction of the middle class, America will return to their ideals. Lets raise our kids as Americans. Lets raise our kids to make a difference in the country. There is no reason kids have to be indoctrinated to todays world system. Lets do our job as parents and raise them to be what they should be, not what some government system wants them to be. I'll not cave in. Thanks for reading.

Here (in reference to the Obama the Magic Negro song) is a good example of the goofiness that goes on in this world. Read the story below titled "Ethnic Bias". Why get offended at the term Negro? Doesn't this just mean black? It sure as heck wouldn't bother me to be called white, honky, yankee, etc. Call me what you want as long as it isn't "late for lunch". Where was the big outrage when Palin was called the "white trash" vote? She sure received my vote. I guess that makes me "white trash". Oh, well. Now with this goofy, Obama being the first African American president stuff. Please do your research before thinking this. He is not the first with black blood. Nobody knows for sure that answer. Some say Andy Jackson among many others did. In addition, Obama isn't a whole lot blacker than me. Oh, he may have some black blood in him, but he sure wasn't raised black. He says he is "by racial". How stupid, aren't most of us "by racial"? How, may I ask, is this election so "historic"? People act like he is the Messiah. Sorry, but He was already born over 2000 years ago. Am I against blacks? Not at all, I would have voted for a black woman in Condalisa, Condoleeza (however she spells it) Rice. I would have voted for a black man in Clarence Thomas. The truth is, the liberal media likes to portray us conservatives, hunters, gun owners, Christians, etc. as the scum of the earth. I for one, will not stand for it any longer. I hope you won't either.

Well, here we go again, another administration that is going to fix things by spending more money. I've been studying Obamas "Economic fix" lately. I do try to keep my mind somewhat open (but not too open because then my brains might fall out) but so far I see nothing different. The fix seems to be another round of spend, spend, spend to fix I problem that came from spending, spending, spending. My friends, when are we going to start taking responsibility for our actions? How can this big government that we have let take control expect the people to act responsibly when they don't act responsibly? When is the last time our government has had a balanced budget and even better, a balanced budget that includes paying off some debt? What is wrong with letting some banks go under? What is wrong with letting some automakers go under? What is wrong with letting some airlines go under? What is wrong with letting some people loss their ultra fancy homes? Maybe people will learn something. Government, please save us! We aren't smart enough to rule our own lives! How ridiculous. Yes, I'm sorry if you lost your home, job, whatever. But truthfully, if you did, and you are suffering terribly, it is likely it was because of poor planning and financial irresponsibility. I know, because I've been there. I've been financially irresponsible before. I'm happy to say that I took the lessons and learned from them. I now haven't had debt for over a year. Hard times are not bad for you if you have the smarts to learn from them. Yes, letting the banks fail, automakers fail, airlines fail, people fail, etc. would cause some hard times. So what. In the end it would be better for all. We have let America become a nation of wimps and become the governments subjects. Ever since the Civil War (it was NOT all about slavery as terrible as slavery was, slavery was only one issue and Grant himself had slaves until the end of the war) we have let the government grow larger and larger and "We the People" have become smaller and smaller. My solution: let the chips fall where they may, let people learn from mistakes, let management of banks and large companies learn how to manage responsibly, let government reduce in size, and let private be private as opposed to government controlled and bailed out. Private industry made the country great, not government control. If you just let things be, it will all work out for the better. All our government plans to fix things are only patches. It will all fall further next time. Ben Franklin said something to the effect that we need a revolution every 200 years because all governments become corrupt within that amount of time. Revolution means to turn completely around or a complete change, so lets do that. If we don't fix what we have soon, it will be much worse later. 'Till next time........

Ethnic bias would be a good definition for racism according to Websters New World Dictionary. Being that this is the case, I've come to the conclusion that the white race may suffer from more racism than any other race in the world right now. Even worse would be a white, Christian, heterosexual male of which I am. Ok, before you label me a KKK or Aryan Nation member, let me be clear that I'm not. The fact is, I think most of those people are a despicable people that are deceived in a horrible way. Most don't even know what they are talking about. They misquote scriptures to suite their agenda and aren't any better than the Taliban. I will also add that in my family there are blacks, orientals, whites, Jews, and Indians. In fact, my kids are 1/4 Indian (India). My family also contains a multitude of religious groups. I happen to love my family very much. That being said, I will continue. If a white person injures a person of a different race, why is it immediately labeled racially motivated or a "hate crime" but not when the opposite happens? Don't believe me, research it. Have you ever heard of a company being required or given incentives to hire a certain percentage of whites? Didn't think so. Have you ever heard of whites getting special hunting privileges? Didn't think so. I guarantee you that I live off the land more than 99% of native Americans. In this day and age, at times I'm made to feel that I should apologize for having white skin. Isn't this racism? In many other countries and even in some of our cities, to walk down a city street by yourself and to have white skin is a bad combination. Am I asking for special privileges? Not in any way. I happen to be very proud of what and who I am and teach my kids to be the same. Are you black? Well than show me that you are proud to be so and have enough self respect to not think that you need more special privileges than others. Are you native American? Than be proud and don't ask for special treatment and a special name. If we are all created equally, than lets see some equality. I personally would be ashamed if special privileges were given to me because of my skin color, religion, or whatever. Now we are starting to hear about "gay rights" as if they should have more rights than the rest of us. Kind of like criminals now having more rights than the rest of us. What is next? Will we soon have rapist rights or even child molester rights? Will we come to the stupid conclusion that they can't help it so they somehow deserve some special rights rather than face the consequences that they deserve? Let us strive to make sure this doesn't happen.

Yesterday on my way to lunch at the Outback, I passed one of the homeless guys in that area, with a sign that read 'Vote Obama, I need the money.' Once in Outback's my waiter had on an 'Obama 08' tee shirt.When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him while he had given me exceptional service, that his tee shirt made me feel he obviously believes in Senator Obama's plan to redistribute the wealth. I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief and angrily stormed away.I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3 and told him to thank the waiter inside, as I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy looked at me in disbelief.As I got in my truck, I realized this rather unscientific redistribution experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was ticked that I gave away the money he did earn.Well, I guess this redistribution of wealth is going to take a while to catch on, at least with those doing the work.

Lately I've been doing some research on a subject that I think is greatly misunderstood. As a Christian man I always try to conduct my life in a manner pleasing to God. Unfortunately, doing so subjects a person to various forms of deception out there in the world. A great way to silence a man dedicated to living a certain lifestyle is to convince him that his way of life FORCES him to blindly follow certain doctrines without question. This is called deception. Now, having spent some time in the Christian lifestyle and always endeavoring to do what is right in Gods eyes, I've spent alot of time studying His word and specifically asking Him WHY on various subjects in life that are dear to me. I've spent alot of time with lots of different doctrines of man and denominations of man in this country and even in another country. The Bible says, "Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is." So if He tells us to understand what His will is, than I believe it is a very doable thing. We need to study and find out what it is. I once had a disagreement with a minister whom I was "under". He then said I wasn't submitted to him. I then asked him if disagreeing with him makes me unsubmitted. In a roundabout way he said yes. At that point I decided that I would not subject myself to his "rule" much longer. Yes, I've been accused a number of times of being "rebellious" but that's ok, I don't mind. I've studied rebellion to my satisfaction too. So on to my subject for today............

When is it ok to be disobedient? The Bible says that wives are to submit to husbands. So is this an always, no questions asked obedience? The Bible says that we are to submit to the Governing authorities. Is this an always, no questions asked obedience? The Bible says to submit to our elders in the church. Is this also an always, no questions asked obedience? Not according to Gods word. If this were the case, He contradicted himself many times. In the book of Exodus, Moses was very disobedient to the Egyptian government, even to the point of the Israelites plundering their masters when they left. When Pharaoh gave the command to kill all of the male newborns of the Hebrews, the midwives disobeyed and lied to Pharaoh. For this, God rewarded the midwives. When David was being pursued by Saul, he certainly wasn't being obedient and in fact called Saul a bloodthirsty, evildoer, and a wicked traitor (Psalm 59). Another example of Davids disobedience includes when he and his men ate the show bread and Jesus later endorsed it(Matt. 12:4). In 1 Sam. 25 we have an example of wife disobedience (and God blessing it) when Abigail the wife of Nabal was disobedient to her husband and even called him a fool (which his name means) when he insulted David and his men. The best example of all of disobedience is Jesus himself. He was very disobedient to the Israel leaders and even insulted Herod himself by calling him a fox which the amplified Bible says means sly, crafty, skulking, and cowardly.

It is currently illegal in England to defend yourself against aggressive attack. Is this something you should be obedient to if you live there? Your husband tells you that you must drive him to his meeting spot with a known drug dealer. Do you do it? Your pastor tells you that you cannot teach at the Bible study the church next door is having. Must you obey? There has been a natural disaster in your area and people are looting all the houses, raping the lone women, killing all resistors, and the governing officials decide that they are going to confiscate all weapons to make the area "safer" and to "reduce" crime (this happened after Katrina). Do you obey and turn your weapons in? Your husband takes your check from work that you were going to buy groceries for you kids with and uses it to support his gambling habit. Do you submit? Your pastor starts to become very nosey in your private life telling you what you can or can't buy, who you can or can't see, what you can or can't do. Must you put up with this?

If you truly study Gods word, you will find that he is for human rights and liberties and the needs of man always come before rules of man. Wives, your job is a helpmate to your husband, not a slave. Your job is to protect your kids at all costs, even nature teaches us that. Husbands jobs are to lead, protect, and nurture their wife and kids at all costs. If your not willing to give your life for them, your not doing your job. A governments job is to lead, protect, and nurture the public in their jurisdiction, not rule and reign as slave masters. A ministers job is the same. The very name minister means servant. When a governing authority goes against their job description and does or endorses things against Gods word, that governing authority loses its mandate from God. It is our job as the people to see that this doesn't happen and to use all possible means to stop it. Obviously, this first of all means doing all you can legislatively and financially, but it also means you are justified if it comes to other more "rebellious" ways. Whether this just means public outcry or more direct civil disobedient ways if needed. But most importantly, PRAY as the word of God says in 1 Tim. 2:1-3. I know people don't like to think this way and will brand you with all sorts of nasties if you talk about it, but as history shows, sometimes it is needed, although to be avoided if at all possible. Most people will agree that this country was established by God and the miraculous things that happened prove this out, but few really know much about the circumstances that brought about this country into being. Rest assured, if those same people that brand you as "rebels" today were alive back then, they would have not have been willing to side with the "rebels" back then either. They sure enjoy the fruits of it today though. To be blunt, freedom isn't free.

Our president elect has appointed some very blatant anti-freedom people to his staff and certainly we must expose them. John Podesta is Obamas transition chief. He has headed the Center for American Progress (CAP) for the last 4 years which was created and bankrolled by billionaire globalist George Soros. Among their main missions has been to collectivize commercial radio by cancelling broadcast licenses and redistributing them to "progressive" local interests. This in effect can kill Christian broadcasts, conservative broadcasts, and other broadcasts that don't endorse their agenda. Is this communist or what? Podesta is quoted in an Associated Press article as saying, "There's a lot that the President can do using his executive authority without waiting for congressional action....". Perhaps the scariest statement to come from the Obamanable staff is from Valerie Jarrett, co-chair of the Obama transition team: ".....Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule from day one." Rule? If memory serves me correct, the last person to rule Americans was King George III.

Websters New World dictionary defines abominable as "Disgusting, vile, a very bad thing" so I have taken the liberty to label the coming administration as the "Obamanable" administration. I have really struggled with the "Why" in how we as a country elected this man. I mean, here we have a man that for around 20 years patronized a church pastored by the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright. It doesn't take much research to find out what the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright stands for. He is a blatant racist and a hypocrite. Well, if somebody willing stays under the leadership of somebody for 20 years, he must somewhat agree with him. Just this fact alone makes me wonder WHY the Obamanable would be elected. The Obamanable has shown himself to be a very untrustworthy, dishonorable, and dishonest person. He is a friend until it gets him in trouble. As long as the friendship benefits himself, he is fine with it. As soon as it starts to cost him something, he backs off. The Blagojevich incident is another fine example. The Obamanable totally innocent in this situation? Oh come on! The guy is also a blatant socialist. Even my kids picked up on this during his campaign. They just recently studied on communism in there school work. I do have to wonder if the Obamanable is going to redistribute HIS wealth to the poor. Now, let me state that I really wasn't any fan of McCain because he really wasn't what he liked to portray himself to be. But Palin, there was a person I could back. Finally we had a chance to get somebody into office that wasn't a carreer politician. Here was somebody that actually stood for the people. I have never seen anybody make such a stir among the liberals. They were obviously scared. You can always judge a person by there enemies. Lets just hope she gets the opportunity to run again.

Why. Why is a good question, we really should know why. I often ask myself why. Why do I do what I do? Why do I believe what I believe? Why am I doing this blog? If I ask myself why and I don't know why, I try to find out. Sometimes that can take a while, but I always try to make a good effort to answer the question to my satisfaction. One thing I don't understand about some people is that they believe something or do something and they really don't know why they are doing it or believing it. It is always stupid to blindly follow somebody or a belief system without questioning why. This is applicable to all aspects of your life. Most people are afraid to voice their opinion if others don't stand with them. They blindly follow so called "leaders" letting them make all the important decisions in their lives. People let their minds be formed and shaped into what others want. In this "age of the wimp" people are afraid to stand up in opposition to what is wrong. If this were not the case, we would not have murders, robberies, rapes, and other assaults from the criminal sort happening in broad view of others. It is every humans duty to face evil and tell it no. It is every countries duty to face evil and tell it no. Evil will never be overcome by running or hiding from it. Do you really think that if we just leave terrorists alone they will not attack us? Do you really think that if we just leave robbers, murderers, rapists, and other criminals alone they will leave us alone? Is their a criminal breaking into your house? Problem easily taken care of if we are willing to face it with all the force necessary. Pirates near Somolia? Problem easily taken care of. Face it with force. This simple concept works with your personal life, you country, and your spiritual life. We all have the right to face evil with force. Lets stand up and face it. More later............
